Dear Shepherd Food Equipment Customers:

At Shepherd Food Equipment, we value the trust you place in us and our staff with your foodservice operations. We are committed to seamlessly providing the service and support you depend on from us. We will continue to heavily monitor our supply chain sources to immediately identify if there is any risk of potential delays to our customers.

At this time, Shepherd Food Equipment has not identified any significant risk or supply limitations. We are actively monitoring the situation, focusing on the CDC regulations and World Health Organization guidelines, as well as other sources. We have implemented the following to protect our employees and customers, while ensuring uninterrupted equipment delivery timelines and service requests:

  • SFE is closely tracking equipment and material availability to ensure timely delivery.
  • We have implemented a non-essential travel and visitor ban.
  • Some office employees are currently working remotely and we are prepared to implement a plan for all office staff to work remotely if necessary.
  • Hand-sanitizing stations have been set up in our warehouse and shop for easy access for warehouse and manufacturing staff.
  • Service/Installation staff has been cautioned to use hand sanitizer prior to entering customer site and wash their hands thoroughly before and after handling customer equipment.
  • The following precautionary health information has been distributed to our employees:
    • Wash your hands using soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Wash before and after eating, after using the restroom, and regularly during the day.
    • Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer in between hand washing.
    • Regularly clean common surfaces with antibacterial wipes or sprays. Be sure to read the directions; many cleaners must dry on the surface in order to be most effective.
    • Cover your cough or sneeze into your elbow. Use a tissue and immediately dispose of the tissue. Wash your hands after sneezing.
    • Stay home if you are sick, including if you have a respiratory illness (coughing, sneezing) or a fever.
